Charitable Support
At Leigh School we not only want to contribute to our local area, but to support those both near and far in need of help.
Sustainable Living
At Leigh, we are looking to create a sustainable future for our school and our community. We have a number of projects ongoing
including:-
- School Eco Committee and Green Flag
- School Photovoltaics
In 2010, installed Solar panels on its roof and they have been producing
electricity for us ever since. If you want to find out more about how you could use renewable energy in your home then check outwww.energysavingtrust.org.uk/ - Forest School on the Field
Thanks to the PTA we have a fantastic outdoor learning area on our school field - perfect for studying conservation and our local environment. If local clubs or groups are interested
in using this facility, please contact the school office.
